The Hotel Sabbia D’Oro is right at the heart of the Etruscan Coast and gives directly onto the beach, overlooking the stretch of sea that surrounds the Tuscan Archipelago.
The hotel is situated in the southern part of San Vincenzo, less than a kilometre from the town centre, in a quiet, leafy area off the old Strada della Principessa, from which the most scenic areas of the coast and the most picturesque towns and villages of inland Tuscany may easily be reached.
A few minutes’ drive from San Vincenzo, along the old Strada della Principessa, will take you to unique beauty spots like Baratti and Populonia, once home to the Etruscans, or the wonderful Rimigliano nature reserve, ideal for walks and rambles. Then there is Punta Ala, where the jet-setters muster, not to mention the frequent ferry and hydrofoil sailings to Elba from nearby Piombino.
Other cities not to be missed, such as Pisa, Volterra, Florence and Siena, may be visited easily on day trips.
